Jumping Trains, Fixing Sunglasses

Went for a run today - a train was stopped on the tracks between me and the shaded course I was planning to run... with some trepidation, I decided to climb over it and stick with my plan. As I ran, I tried to account for my anxiety - could it be all the news accounts over the years about train accidents, or the sheer mass of the freight car when I stood next to it, or the time I was harshley punished for leading a shortcut home with my younger siblings? Who knows, but it felt good to get around yet another obstacle.

The inside coating on my very expensive prescription sunglasses has been coming off, to the point that I just had to get them fixed - that will be 2 weeks without them... bummer - I love those sunglasses - they are gradient, wrap around, Rudy Project Equinox - got them at SportRx - pretty good on-line company to work with if you're looking for prescription sunglasses for motorcycling or biking.

Anyway, it's Wednesday and I will have 8 hours of training by the end of the day. Should be good for my long training week.
